Q. Tell us about yourself

A. I was born in Dorchester, MA and went to Framingham State University where I met my wife. I played play basketball for a year. I still play basketball at six each morning at Clark with my staff.

Q. How did you get your foot in door in the sports industry?

A. I started an internship with the Celtics when I was in college. I was basically a volunteer but I had a lot of things to do. It was lots of fun. But, this experience made me think that college athletics is better and made me want to work there.

Q. Tell us about your job

A. My job is writing a lot, going to all the home games, and keeping the stats. I usually work from 9am – 9pm, but I like what I do, for example, writing a newspaper, and updating clarkathlete.com.

Q. What is the most interesting thing about working in publicity?

A. No day is the same. Every day is different. All the games are exciting, especially before the beginning of the game I am so pumped.

Q. Why are college sports attractive to you?

A. I don’t know, but I think that because in division III you don’t get money like in Division I. You play because you love the games you love to play the sport. Division III athletics is great. I love being a part of the team.

Q. What is your goal at Clark University?

A. To tell as many stories as I can about great kids. Currently, Clark athletics is right on track, and we have lots of improvements to make. It is hard to do in one year, but it seems like it is getting better.
