Position: Forward

Q. How long have you been playing?

A. Since 6th grade.

Q. How did basketball change your life?

A. Through basketball, I developed friendship, leadership and communication skills.

Q. How do you feel about being named NEWMAC player of the week? 

A. I’m pleased and I proved myself at what I’m trying to do.

Q. You appeared all the 26 games last season. Why did you succeed in your first season? How do you feel about it?

A. It was hard because there were a lot of freshman players last season and they were all similar. But I just wanted to win and played games. I stepped up.

Q. What is your motivation?

A. My personal motivation is my teammates. I play for them all the time. It’s all about team chemistry.

Q. How is the condition of your team? So far, you are 15-8 and this season looks very good.

A. I’m glad because I didn’t expect it when I came onto the team. I’m just pleased. We trained so hard and got in shape.

Q. What is the best thing about basketball?

A. For me, the best thing is coming together. Teammates are behind me and they are my family. Also, my coaches are great and they are smart. They always push us hard.

Q. You have two more games this season. How do you feel about it.

A. We are excited. I think we have still a lot of improvements to make. This is a long season but we are ready to play against Babson and MIT.
