Q. You are a fairly new member of the Clark Swimming and Diving Team. What’s your favorite part about the team?

A. My favorite part of the team is how welcoming they have been! Every individual is very friendly on and off the deck.

Q. It can be hard to stay positive in a sport where you compete individually. Is there anything you do to help you before you step up to take a dive?

A. It is extremely hard to stay positive especially after you flop! My teammates help keep me positive! When I am nervous about a dive I tell myself a cheesy joke or pick up line before I jump off the board.

Q. As a two sport athlete at Clark (Diving and Field Hockey), how has your college career been affected by sports overall?

A. Sports have helped me stay focused on what is important and have truly impacted the friends that I’ve made at Clark. It has definitely positively affected my college experience and will help prepare me for future endeavors I may come across in life.
