  Q. What is your favorite part about this year’s men’s basketball team? How is it different from past seasons?
  A. My favorite part is that everyone is like family and we all hang out together. The New York trip was great and it is very similar to past seasons, but this year we are an older, more experienced team.

  Q. When do you feel most supported by your teammates?
  A. During games especially. Everyone stays positive and is uplifting.

  Q. Do you have any personal rituals or superstitions that you have before or during a game?
  A. I always take a nap, listen to “pumped up kicks”, and have a coffee.

  Q. How would you say the overall attitude on the team is at this point in the season?
  A. The attitude is still very good. We are upset we lost three down-to-the-wire games in a row, but we are using the positive things that came from the first half of our conference play to improve and have a stronger second half within the NEWMAC.

  Q. What are the teams chances of making the NEWMAC tournament this season?
  A. We are 3-3 in the NEWMAC so far, but we are taking it one game at a time and approaching every NEWMAC game as a must win so we are not in a tough spot for our last game. The past couple of years we have needed to win our final game, and needed help from other teams to make the tournament, so we are approaching things a little differently this season.
