Q. How is everything going for the Women’s Basketball team at this point in the season?

A. Pretty well. We are working really hard to have a great season and make the NEWMAC tournament.

Q. Does the team have any specific goals for the remainder of the season? Do you have any crucial games coming up?

A. We really want to win the remainder of our games this season, grow stronger as a team, and win a NEWMAC Championship. Every game is important to us and our next one is this Saturday at Wheaton.

Q. What would you say is the most important or impressive part of your team as a whole?What makes the team dynamic unique?

A. We have really grown as a team this past season and have learned to stick with each other through the good and the bad. Our team is filled with lots of great people and we do a great job of supporting each other on and off the court.

Q. How would you describe your experience as an athlete at Clark? How has it affected your college career?

A. My experience as a Clark Athlete has been great! There is an amazing, supportive, and caring group of athletes and individuals within the athletic department on campus. Not only are they trying to help you grow within athletics but they are all there to help you grow in your academics.

Q. You are involved in organizing and fundraising for Relay for Life, and trying to get athletes involved. How is the mobilization of this event going and what are your expectations for Clark’s Relay for Life this year?

A. We have high expectations for Relay this year even though it’s only our 5th year. We are really trying to get not only athletes involved but many groups on campus. We know that cancer has touched the lives of so many individuals, and we want to make sure they know that they are not alone. We are fighting to find a cure and create a world with more birthdays.
