Name: Clive Green
Year: Junior
Home: Portmore, Jamaica
Major: Bio-Chemistry
Sport: Swimming
Events: 50 Free, 100 Free,
100 Fly

Q. What’s your favorite event that you swim and why?

A. The 50 Free. Because it’s the quickest event, and it’s over really fast.

Q. The swim team has NEWMAC Championships coming up this weekend. Do you have any goals or expectations for your performance?

A. Personally, I’d like to break my 50 fly record and 100 fly record. I used to hold the records, but mine were broken last year.

Q. What made you decide to swim at Clark?

A. I swam a lot in the past, but I wanted to continue at a higher level and I thought Clark was a perfect place to do that. Coach is a really nice guy, and he contacted me before I came which made it easy for me.

Q. How do you feel swimming has affected your overall college experience?

A. For me, I came to Clark Mid Week-one, and didn’t have many friends. The swim team were my friends and my family. I’ve held onto these same friends for the past three years. The swim team helps make Clark my home away from home.

Good Luck to Clive and the rest of the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams this weekend at the NEWMAC Championships in Cambridge, MA. Go Cougars!!
