Several months ago, the popular soft drink company Coca-Cola launched a new flavor known as “Spiced” as a part of their permanent lineup of flavors. This month, however, Coke announced that they would be discontinuing their newest flavor due to lower than expected sales.
This comes at a time when other popular soft drinks are gaining popularity over the traditional, more mainstream soft drinks. In fact, Spiced was announced as a competitor to the drink Dr. Pepper which has surged in popularity in recent years, even surpassing Pepsi as America’s second favorite soft drink. Coke plans on trying once again to add a new flavor to their permanent lineup, they plan on releasing this mystery beverage sometime in 2025.
