The Entrepreneurship Club is a business-oriented club at Clark that allows students like myself the opportunity to grow their businesses and network with their peers. The club is run by business owners and entrepreneurs, who share their knowledge with one another. The Entrepreneurship Club engages in a wide variety of activities catered to the many interests of people in the club.. As Head of Advertising, I am able to give more insight into how this club helps students run their own endeavors.
The club is run by multiple members; Kai Cecil, Owen Chase, Jihae An and myself. On Wednesdays, we all can be found at the Clark Collective pop up running our own businesses such as clothing reselling, food making and more. We are all students in various grades with all different backgrounds and experiences to learn from. This club is a place to build connections and grow your own small business with a support system.
The club runs weekly meetings on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Carlson 120. These meetings consist of information sessions on topics related to running your own businesses. However, these information sessions aren’t the only times you can get involved. Other activities range from making stickers, t-shirts and business cards to attending business conferences and competitions. Sponsored by the Head of the Entrepreneurship Department, every semester is jam-packed with different activities to highlight the importance of entrepreneurship at Clark. These events allow members to progress on their entrepreneurial journey. Plus, the e-board is accommodating to the needs of all new business owners, they are here to help students grow as entrepeneurs.
